This exhibition showcases original artwork, materials, and footage used in the post-recording studio, all of which was actually used in the creation of the television anime "She and Her Cat - Everything Flows" which began its broadcast this year in March, produced and directed by Sakamoto Kazuya, the head of Kyoto based animation by Liden Films Kyoto studio (Head office: Tokyo).
As well as introducing the backstage of anime production, we will also bring attention to the 'lines' of drawing that anime has in common with manga. We hope that you will enjoy this exhibition which gives the opportunity to discover what anime and manga have in common.

Talk Event "Her Cat EF up to completion"
We will host a talk show with invited guest director Sakamoto Kazuya who took the helm of this anime, who will talk about his commitment to the production and reasons for making the anime in Kyoto.

Presenters | Sakamoto Kazuya (Liden Films corporation) Born in 1980 in Okayama. He made his directing debut with "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi", and went on to direct various animated works including "Ices" and "Terraformars" etc. He is currently based at the Kyoto studio of Liden Films, and concurrently works as head of the same studio. This anime is his latest directorial work. |
