Masami Ogiwara /BELNE Original Art Exhibition
-- Drawing Fantasy and Myths
The Kyoto International Manga Museum is organizing an Exhibition introducing two manga artists who also teach at Kyoto Seika University, Masami Ogiwara and BELNE.
Masami Ogiwara draws fantastic worlds in pale color schemes, and BELNE creates her own unique world with bolder lines, but since both focus on creating fantasy and myths, this is the theme the original art exhibition centers around. Visitors will be able to see their original manga art, including unpublished work, up close, and the exhibition will also show the process of creating their art, starting with which materials were used. This is a wonderful opportunity for fans of both artists, as well as anyone else who likes to draw.
On two days during the exhibition, both artists will participate in a live drawing event in the gallery. Please come and watch the creative process up close.
