YUICHI YOKOYAMA:
THIS IS NEO WALL
Gathering Celebrities and Beasts
Unconventional manga artist and modern art creator, Yuichi Yokoyama, currently gaining praise in the international manga and art world, continues to put out manga pieces with characters in strange outfits doing things like silently carrying out civil construction work or having pointless conversations. He continues to shock the manga world with unparalleled style.
The Kyoto International Manga Museum is proud to present Yokoyama's next project. This time he will be projection mapping the manga piece, drawn especially for the occasion, on a massive wall, as well as presenting the original cells in a way that recreates the world inside the piece. You may find the details for this project below.
This project will also be held as a supported venture of the art festival PRASOPHIA; Kyoto International Festival of Contemporary Art 2015, which invites distinguished artists of the world and has passionate art fans in a frenzy.
