コミPo!って何?

The ComiPo! Official Website (Japanese only)
http://www.comipo.com/index.html

With the advent of word processing technology, it became possible for anyone to create printed text. Then, with the invention of karaoke, it became possible for anyone to sing with a back-up band. However, when it comes to manga production, only people who are good at drawing can create it; there is a sharp divide between people who can draw and those who can't. ComiPo! is a bridge that lets you cross that divide. Even if you can't draw at all, using this program you can create your own manga. Now, with the development of this new software, it has become possible for anyone to make their own manga, even in just a short period of time!

Profile of Tanaka Keiichi (producer of the ComiPo! software)

Born in Osaka in 1962. While he was still a university student, he became one of the first members in the Koike Kazuo Gekiga Sonjuku. He debuted in 1984 with his manga "Mr. Kawado" in the magazine "Comic Gekiga Sonjuku." After graduating from college, he was employed at Takara (now Takara Tomy) and did not work on his manga for a time. However, after leaving Takara, he became able to devote more energy to his own manga. After working for Celsys, Inc., he was hired in 2002 at Web Technology Corporation, where he now serves as a chairman and is in charge of sales of tools for developing video game software. In addition, he draws the illustrations for manuals for the company's software. He planned and produced ComiPo!, a manga creation program that was released on December 15, 2010.
