Will humanity be ruled by cats!?
NYAIGHT OF THE LIVING CAT EXHIBITION
Sat Dec 13th, 2025 – Tue Apr 7th, 2026
In the series, a phenomenon known as ‘Meow-demic’ suddenly emerges, where people turn into cats when they touch them. Even as humanity is on the verge of extinction, they are unable to raise their hands against the cute cats. It's a panic comedy, which is sure to make you laugh. And although it’s a kind of scary horror, it’s unique in how it uses cute cats to tell the story. The series was adapted into an anime in July 2025 and gained significant attention both in Japan and overseas.
This exhibition will showcase the original manga artwork (digital printouts), and will introduce the production methods used by Story,HAWKMAN and the Art,MECHA-ROOTS to create the manga. The first episode of the anime will also be screened, along with production materials and other exhibition items.
This exhibition will be a delight for both manga and anime fans, as well as cat lovers.
