Adherence to Law
The Kyoto International Manga Museum (hereinafter referred to as The Museum) will act in strict adherence to Japan's national Personal Information Protection Law whenever dealing with personal information.
The Use of Personal Information
Names, addresses and other personal information collected when receiving inquiries etc, will only be used for the purposes of notification and statistical data by The Museum, within which, appropriate duties may be performed by entrusted contractors (hereinafter referred to as Contract Organizations). Personal information imparted to the museum is only used for the purpose for which it is submitted, furthermore, Contract Organizations will not use the information for purposes exceeding the specific purpose for which they have been contracted by The Museum.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Museum will not disclose personal information to unrelated third parties without prior consent from the individual except as otherwise required according to Japanese national law.
Personal Information Safety Measures
The Museum makes great effort to maintain updated and accurate personal information and takes measures to ensure against the destruction, disclosure or alteration of personal information due to unauthorized access.
