Acrylic stands featuring the main visual specially created for the exhibition will be available for purchase, in addition to a variety of merchandise featuring many of the series’ beautiful illustrations.
Related Café Menu
A limited-edition collaborative menu will be available at the Maeda Coffee Manga Museum Store located on the first floor of the museum.
From food to drinks, specially created exhibition-themed menu items will be on offer, allowing visitors to enjoy the world of the series through taste.
About
Yoake no uta [Lullaby of the dawn]
A manga by Yuno Ichika. The series is an epic Boys' Love (BL) romance about two men whose lives are bound by fate; Elva, a warrior priest who fights while sacrificing his own life, and Alto, who lives alongside him to set him free. This work is celebrated as a masterpiece that brought a fresh perspective to the BL genre, having won first place in numerous rankings, including the BL Awards and the Manga Kingdom Annual Ranking.
Yuno Ichika
While Yoake no uta is Yuno Ichika’s debut work, she has attracted widespread attention for her exceptional manga sense. The work won first place in the BEST Comic category of the ChilChil BL Awards in 2022 and second place in the This BL is Awesome! awards in 2022, taking the BL world by storm.
Known for her warm and rich art style, skillful portrayal of varied facial expressions, and compelling storytelling, Ichika is currently serializing Yoake no uta under the digital BL label From RED. The latest volume, number 7, was released in June 2026.
About the ‘Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair’
The largest scale manga and anime event in western Japan, this fair is held every year in September to promote the Kansai contents industry through initiatives such as acting as a forum to generate business networking between companies in the Kansai region and Tokyo region; creating a market that will foster exceptional young creators in Kansai; and attracting new groups of tourists, including local manga and anime fans, as well as foreigners.
