Notable Ribon manga: Good Morning Call
When Takasuka Yue’s artwork first appeared they had a freshness that did not resemble anyone else’s work. As well as treasured images of young men, Takasuka depicted scenes of everyday life like shopping that fascinated readers. A charming artist whose furoku featured rounded, stubby characters, Takasuka was one of the artists who painted furoku from the golden age of the 90s.
