Summer MM Workshop! - 京都国際マンガミュージアム

There are 3 types of workshops you can enjoy throughout the summer(July 21 – August 31) at the museum. You can join freely so please join us!

Let’s make original tin badge!

Your drawing which you can draw with pens and coloring pencils become original badge by using special machine.
The machine is operated by staff, so even young children can safely take part. We have prepared some original designs so you can also enjoy the workshop by just coloring in and adding your own message, so it’s also great for people who might not be so good at drawing!

*There can be waiting time when it’s busy.
Participation fee300 yen (Includes one tine badge material. However, a General Admission ticket to the Museum is required）

MM Coloring class: Be a coloring master!

You will be learning how to use coloring pencils in the most effective way by using coloring sheets that you can purchase at the museum shop. You will be taught from basic to professional skills including gradient, mixing colors, shiny part of hair and skin, and how to use white pencils. If you want to challenge yourslef even more, we can provide you upper grade techniques.

Participation fee500 yen (includes MM Original Colorizing Sheets. * However, a General Admission ticket to the Museum is required）

Original Bookmark Class

In this workshop, make original bookmarks by drawing and coloring in your favored picture.
Made using colored pencils and pens, so recommended for children as well!
