Due to the approaching typhoon No. 7, the Museum will be temporarily closed all day on Tuesday, August 15, in consideration of the possibility that JR and private railway services will be suspended or reduced, and that a storm warning or special warning may be issued for the southern part of Kyoto Prefecture.

On Wednesday the 16th, the museum will be open as usual unless there is a "closed" notice on the website as of 10:00 a.m.
