Kyoto International Manga Museum will re-open from June 3 (Thu) under the restrictions outlined below.

Restrictions on visitor numbers

In order to prevent the spread of the virus due to a high number of visitors at one time, admission numbers may be restricted.

Information for Museum Passport holders

For those who have a yearly passport for the museum that was valid between April 25 and May 31, 2021, you can use the passport for up to 2 months from the expiry date like below. However, those who purchased between June 1, 2020 and March 30, 2021 will be extended until three months later because of this.

【Extended purchase period】
A yearly passport valid between June 1 to March 30, 2020 →the passport for up to 3 months from the expiry date
A yearly passport valid between April 1 to April 24, 2021 →the passport for up to 2 months from the expiry date

Information for Invitation Ticket holders

Invitation tickets that were valid up to Apr 30, 2021, can be used for up to 2 months from their original expiry date.

E.g. an invitation ticket that expired on April 30 will be valid until July 31.
