In memory of Tsuchiyama Shigeru

On May 24, the Japanese manga artist Tsuchiyama Shigeru passed away. He is famous for his works of food manga, such as “Kuishimbo” and “Gokudo Meshi”.
Mr. Tsuchiyama visited the manga museum in 2012, as a special guest to a charity event for the Great East Japan Earthquake with other manga artists (Big Joe and Kurata Yoshimi). Also, for the “Cooking Papa exhibition” in 2017-2018, he wrote an encouraging text with the same two people.
Our heart-felt condolences go to him; may his soul rest in peace.
We have collected a variety of Mr. Tsuchiyama’s works. We hope you will take the opportunity to be reminded of some of his great works.
